Reference

The lists an Abandoned Cart Recovery configuration is built against.

Every page under here is written from the extension's own code by oce docs:reference, so none of them can drift away from what the version you installed does.

What a generated list cannot tell you

  • Only one setting has to be chosen by hand: how it may email. Everything else has a default you can leave, and the numbers are clamped rather than refused: a value outside its range is saved as the nearest one allowed, with no error. The one save it refuses outright is Marketing sequence without its acknowledgement.
  • Every delay is counted from the abandonment, not from the email before it. The defaults of 1, 24 and 72 hours are three moments after the shopper left, so a first email held back by the daily limit does not push the second one out.
  • The nine pills on the Episodes tab are one state each. Recovered wins over everything, then Stopped (the shopper unsubscribed, you suppressed, or you pressed Stop emailing), Cart empty, Not emailed (nothing was ever attempted, and a skip or its expiry says why, including everyone the newsletter switch skipped), Expired (emailed, then nothing came back), Send failed, Send interrupted, Emailed, and Waiting. The list opens on Emailed.
  • The dots under Emails are one per email the position allows: green sent, red failed, amber interrupted and possibly sent, grey not sent, hollow not sent yet. clicked beside them is the first time the link was opened.
  • The funnel and the Recovered pill count different things. See what came back.
  • Each button on a row is there only where it applies, and absent rather than greyed out elsewhere: Resend on a failed send, Stop emailing on an open abandonment with an email still to go, Suppress on an address not already stopped, Lift suppression on one you stopped yourself. There is no close button.
  • The API reads and never writes. It is off until you switch it on, answers only over HTTPS with an OpenCart API user, and never returns a link token or a coupon code. It can reach every store's abandonments, full addresses included; there is no narrower credential, which is why it offers no search by address.
