The bundle form

Every field on Catalog → Bundles → Add Bundle, tab by tab, in the order the form shows them. The labels and the guidance are read out of the same language file the form itself renders, so this page cannot drift away from the screen in front of you.

General

Field What it is
Bundle Name The bundle's name, per language. Shown wherever the bundle is, and on the order line it sells as.
Description The bundle's own description, per language. Component descriptions are never concatenated into it.
Meta Tag Title The page title, per language. Left empty, the bundle name is used.
Meta Tag Description The meta description, per language.
Meta Tag Keywords The meta keywords, per language.

Data

Field What it is
Model The bundle's own model, shown beside it and used to group it in Reports → Products Purchased.
Image The bundle's image. Component images are shown separately as the contents.
Tax Class The tax class the whole bundle is taxed under. Component tax classes are not consulted.
Weight Leave this empty and the bundle weighs what is in the box, added up as components are added or reweighed. Fill it in only if you repack the bundle into a single box of its own — a number here wins outright, and nought is a real weight rather than an empty field.
Dimensions (L x W x H) The box you post the bundle in. These are never added up: two 10cm cubes are not a 20cm cube, so only you can say what the packed bundle measures.
Points What the bundle costs a shopper paying in reward points. Leave it at nought and the bundle cannot be bought with points at all, which is how OpenCart treats a product.
Reward Points What a purchase earns a shopper, per customer group. This is not worked out from the components on purpose: a bundle sold at a discount would otherwise award the full points of everything in it.
Date Available The storefront will not sell a bundle before this date. Left empty, it is on sale as soon as it is enabled.
Sort Order Where the bundle sits among products in a listing, exactly as a product's sort order does.
Status Whether the bundle is on sale. Disabling one hides it and its reviews until you enable it again.

Components

Field What it is
Component Start typing a product name. A bundle cannot contain another bundle, so bundles are not offered here.
Quantity How many of that component one bundle holds. A cart wanting two bundles wants twice this of it.
Pricing Mode Whether the price is a discount off what the components come to, or a fixed amount.
Discount The percentage off the components' total, when the pricing mode is a discount.
Price What the bundle sells for, whatever its components come to.
Field What it is
Stores Which of your shops sell this bundle. A bundle in no shop cannot be bought anywhere; un-ticking a shop empties the bundle out of any cart in it, exactly as un-assigning a product does.
Brand Start typing a brand name. The bundle then appears on that brand's own page, beside its products.
Categories Start typing a category name. The bundle appears in the categories it is in, wearing a bundle card rather than a product card.
Filters Start typing a filter name, so the bundle survives the narrowing a shopper applies to a category page.

SEO

Field What it is
SEO Keyword The bundle's own URL, one per shop and language: a keyword of "starter-kit" makes the page /bundle/starter-kit. Letters, numbers, dashes and underscores only, and no slashes.
